My brain works in totally random ways. I can have some pretty crazy "streams of consciousness." Anyways, the other night I got sidetracked from my original internet quest as usual and ended up re-familiarizing myself with good ol' Milli Vanilli. A long story short: 2 guys met, wanted to start a group, met a producer who liked other peoples voices better, got them to lip-synch and dance in spandex with long hair...people found out it wasn't them (track skipped at a live performance), got mad, they were disgraced, went into obscurity where one of the guys (Rob Pilatus) took it really badly, ended up dying from drugs and alcholism, the other guy (Fab Morvan) continued on with music/acting/art. Whew, that was alot. Ok, so basically I just like the songs b/c it brings back a little nostalgia. I could care less if they actually sang or not! It should also be noted that when I told my wife, Jamie, about this post she didn't really know who Milli Vanilli was and couldn't name one of their songs! Seriously!?!? Now I not only view this blog as entertaining, but educational.

Videos anyone?!?!?

So here's the second part to my random post. There's no good segueway to this one so I'll just put it out there...CHOCOLATE GRAVY! Ever had it? It's definitely not something you should eat every day (especially after you see what's in it) but man it's good. My friend's mom used to make it when we'd come over. She recently joined Facebook and some friends and I noticed the "special sauce" in the background of one of her pictures. All it took was a little pleasant persistance and she divulged the secret recipe. If anyone actually reads this blog, it's at least worth trying once. So here's the recipe (copied straight from her Facebook status!):

Chocolate Gravy-- 3 T All Purpose Flour add 1 Cup Sugar add 3T Cocoa (stir real well...no lumps) ... add 2 Cups Milk ( 1 Cup at a time...Mix Thoroughly with each cup) slowly cook this in a heavy skillet stirring constantly ..until it bubbles .. take off heat and add 2 T butter and let it melt ..stir it in the gravy....spoon it over homemade biscuits.
